Bought tv in 1998 and have not had any problems at all. Still a great picture. The best tv I have ever had. Proscan makes a great product.

I've had mine since 1997. Bought at Circuit City on sale and not had one problem. I'm military and have moved it from MD to NE and recently to Italy and its held up great. Starting to see tiny misconvergence in the top left corner though. I'm told this is common among projection TVs.

Proscan Ps50670
Great looks but very bad quality.
Breaks down all the time. This trend is general with
many ProScan products.

Don't buy it!

I do not recommend anybody buying this particular or any RCA Proscan Projection TV. Just found out that as a minimum I will have to spend $400-$500 to correct a probable solder crack in one of the Circuit Boards. Just learned that this is a common ocurrence in RCA/ProsCan TVS. To make things worst, the RCA/Proscan idea of technical support is to provide you with a phone number and address of someone ready to take some more of your hard sweated money to resolve a long time known manufacturing problem.
