I have the Sony KP-41T65 I have had it for 5 years now and up until last month I it's been great. However it now has a wonderful hour glass shape to the screen and the repair is going to be lots.

Great Television! Purchased this unit 4 years ago for $1600 and am pleased to see that it has held its value; which means it has served other people well also. I figure I should receive another 4 or so years out of this television...hopefully more. It has survived 3 moves and is still ticking! Thanks again, Sony, for the great product!

I have to say that I disagree with the two reviews above. I've had this tv for about a month and am very pleased with its performance. The picture is bright and crisp. The initial set up is very easy to accomplish, and the menus can be easily understood by even a child. Also, I don't think I've ever seen such a finely detailed picture wtih dvd. All in all,I'm very pleased with my unit. My only real criticism is that the unit could use another set of a/v inputs, especially a component video output.

Suffers from being a "tabletop" unit -- the small size forces the projection tubes to large angles, compromising picture quality. The Sony is downright mediocre -- three floor models all demonstrated serious convergence errors that could not be corrected. All in all I was very disappointed.

I like the looks of this tv with DVD but when I hook up my dss it flashes every
couple of seconds.

I am going to return it.
