Sunfire Cinema Grand
Excellent clarity and soundstaging. No clipping noted. The only gripe I have is the "cheap" plastic speaker wire connections. Otherwise it's wonderful to listen to.

Sunfire Cinema Grand
The only thing that keeps me from rating "The Grand" a 10 is the fact that it has a hard wired power cord and the "cheap" plastic 5 way binding posts. Having both current and voltage outputs makes it possible for me to run the ribbons on my Carver Platinum Fours ( with bi-amp crossovers ) off the voltage outputs and the woofers off the current outputs. This makes for the best sound I've ever gotten from the Platinum Fours. The amp has unlimited power and never seems to strain, even with very bass heavy material.

For the price this amp strains to provide power of any quanity and the clarity IMHO is lacking.

Sunfire Cinema Grand
This amplifier is tremendously detailed, clear, smooth, powerful, and flexible. Recommend biwiring using the current output for crystal clear midrange and highs and the voltage output for powerful, yet detailed low-end. Currently running the system with the Sunfire Theater Grand Processor/Preamp--wonderful! Using NHT 2.9 speakers with the system--again, wonderful detail with incredibly large soundstage. Previously hooked-up top of the line Adcom equipment (GFA-5802 300-watt amp and GFP-750 preamp), and truely enjoyed the sound until returning system for the Sunfire Cinema Grand. The soundstage really opened up with its rich, dynamic sound. Also, plays very loud without distortion. For surround sound (at 200-watts X 5), it is unparalleled in its price range. Highly recommended!

Sunfire Cinema Grand
Powerful but who cares when it sounds awful! You should use it only for low-end home-theater. Not for music, never!

This amplifier looks like shit.. Sure it sounds good but I mean come on, I couldn't match it to the decore in my house, so what good is it.

Sunfire Cinema Grand
I've never heard this unit but all the review I read about it was very good. It also is used as the reference for many reviewers so I wouldn't put much stock into the first reviewers remarks. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.
