Nakamichi PA1

The Nakamichi PA1 is truly one of the best amplifiers on the market in this price range. The build design is solid and the sound is breathtaking. My jaw dropped the first time I heard this amp. The power rating is very conservative (dynamic power range is 140WPC with all channels driven at Nakamichi's website). With a decent preamp, the bass is solid, mids are crystal clear and the treble is precise without being bright. Currently you can get one of these at UBID.COM for less than half the MSRP. They have been going for approximately $600 - 800. If you are looking for a reasonably priced amplifier for home theatre or music then this is clearly one of the best choices.
