Great speakers on a low budget.

highs- fantastic placement of everything in the soundscape (great for jazz), natural sounding voices, beautiful black laquer finish that matches my piano, and dirt cheap.

lows- cost will rise as you add stands (a must). a little bass? not even.

i orginically purchased them with the subwoofer (ps2) but setting it up was too much of a repeated pain for someone constantly moving.

I got five superzeros and their small powered sub (60W) for right at $1000 ( I saved about $100 or so buying the package.)

The sound is just incredible, they're small speakers, but with the sub, has incredible sound. People have been pretty much blown away when they sit down to listen to audio or surround sound.

They were recommended to me by an audio buff- and I liked that they were U.S. made. But, it turns out that the enclosures are made in China, as is the seperate amp for the sub. :-/

They're video shielded for use as a center channel as well, but I notice some interference on my tube unless I'm very careful with the placement of it. My dealer has a 1-year trade up on these, so I'll be upgrading to NHT's new dedicated center channel later this month. I'll probably upgrade the sub a little later this year too.

I give them a high rating because they sound beautiful, and are reasonably priced.

After a long search for the best, cleanest-sounding bookshelf, I picked the Superzero's. They sound very crisp, clear, and remarkably detailed. They blew away anything in the $600+under price range from Bose, Cambridge Soundworks, Polk Audio, Boston Acoustics, Energy, Infinity, and many others. This is meant to be a satellite speaker, so it is not supposed to produce bass. If you dont have a sub and dont plan to get one, go for the SuperOne's. But if you do have a sub, and are looking for the best bookshelf speaker for the money, the SuperZero's are it.
