Truly awsome for what you get for the money. These stand up to my Ohm speakers.

I have a pair of Polk Audio RT-7'S and agree that Polk should have not discontinued them. They can easily be used as mains in a surround system while embarassing speakers twice their price.I'm currently moving & noticed someone posting that they were looking for an extra pair for their surrounds.Mine are in excellent condition & are for sale!!If interested,e-mail me at dukanman@yahoo.com.Sincerely,Dane

I bought these RT7'S thinking I'd use em as surrounds but when I hooked them up and used them as my front mains my mind was astonished to their sound. The highs are fantastic & the 7.5" woofers crank out some nice clean deep bass.I only wish Polk stuck with the old line-up of the RT Series. They kinda remind me of the old "stand-by" Large Advent as far as sound and value.I currently use em with a HK AVR 25 MK111 Surround unit and am very happy with the price & value overall. They're currently disscontinued but I trying to find another pair for my rear surrounds.Try em,you'll definatly like em!!

Polk RT7
These are fine bookself speakers. So good in fact I went out and bought another pair. Superb smooth highs are delivered by that sensational tweeter. This is the main difference between the (other than size) RT5 and RT3. The middle range is deep, smooth and full. The lows are lacking a bit, but one should expect this from a bookshelf speaker. Use them in cojuction with a subwoofer (I recommend the Velodyne CT series, I have the CT-120) and you will have a speaker system which will perform at levels that even true audiophiles will apreciate.

I am still trying to figure out why the folks at Polk Audio discontinued this model. I personally think these (with a sub) outperforms the RT55, of which I also own a pair.

Polk RT7
Excellent all around speaker. I use them as for fronts for my home theater and the mains for my stereo. I have them coupled with a PSW120 sub some RT3's in the rear and a CS245 for the center. Over all a great set up at a resonable expense.

Polk RT7
Very good inexpensive full range
speaker that may be used as a
main or surround.
