M&K THX 150 System
Amazing, absolutely amazing. These speakers are designed for DIGITAL! (DD, DTS and 5 channel stereo). NOT for making your old 2 channel "hi fi" system sound better than it really is. If you are going all digital then the 150's are hard to beat, if you are updating your old stero system with new speakers than look elsewhere. The M & K speakers are designed for the FUTURE not the past. I own the s150 front L/C/R, tripole surrounds, MK mx350 sub ( AWESOME ),with the Denon 5700, and Denon DVD 5000 player. Everyone who has listeded to my set up says it is the best sounding system they have ever heard, music or movies.
( I tried out the PSB golds and silvers for the fronts but they just couldn't compete with the MK's for movies ( not even close)the only advantage of the PSB's are for traditional 2 channel stereo, switch to 5.1, DD or DTS and listen for yourself... M and K all around if you ask me

M&K THX 150 System
Studio monitor 5.1 system that is used as the reference speakers for both Dolby Digital and DTS Labs. Compact yet powerful, the 150 system can be placed easily into any room. L/C/R speakers can be placed wither on a table or M&K custom stands can be purchased separately with all mounting hardware. 5 way binding posts on all speakers. Not set up for Bi-Wiring. Sub has a built-in 400 watt amp and can be used as single or in pairs ($1295 for additional sub) Center channel has exceptional vocal clarity. Digital sound (Once calibrated via Video Essentials) makes the boxes disappear. THX Certified.
