B&W DM 602
These are simply the best bookshelf speakers I ever had. They blow away my bose Bose 301 Series III. The midrange especially is awesome. Supplementing it with a subwoofer will make your house come alive.

I recommend this for anyone looking to spend less than $1,000 for speakers but want quality.

B&W DM 602
More than 2 years later, I'm still amazed at the incredible sound these speakers make. Great, deep bass and crystal clear treble. You can't buy better speakers for the money.

B&W DM 602
After a year of ownership I still can't believe these speakers were only $550. YOU CAN'T BEAT THE 602's FOR THE MONEY! Increadable value. You really could spend $1500 on a worse sounding pair of speakers.

Three words to describe the sound of the 602's; NATURAL, CLEAN, CHRISP.
Not bright, not warm. Natural!

B&W DM 602
I have had the 602's for around five months. When I first bought them, I thought the highs, especially voice, was a little harsh. I figured it would just take some time for the tweeter to break in; however, five months later, the problem is not any better. I am using a 2095 by Yamaha to run them whith fairly decent cables, so I feel that the true problem is the B&W's. At low volume, they sound gorgeous--good mids and his and decent bass. When I start to crank the volume though, I am dissapointed with the way people's voices sound. When the voice first comes in it sounds very "airy" and actually hurts. I plan on trading them in for a pair of Dynaudio Audience 50's--a little more expensive but I espect the silk tweeter and better drivers to make a big difference. If you are thinking about buying the B&W's and don't have the same problem at high volumes as I do, then I fully recomend them. At their price, they can be a great bang for the buck. On the other hand, if they are at all fatifuing to your ears, stay away from them. It can be very frustrating to spend that much money and then be dissapointed.

B&W DM 602
Bargain Speaker! Initially purchased the Bose AM-7s for my fronts and the B&W DM602s for the rear. Eventualy, gave the AM-7s to my mom and now run only DM602s for the front and rear. I have occasionally pushed them to the point that mids and highs started sounding harsh and the bass starts to get mushy but at resonable levels and a little beyond (Ray of Light brought the neighbors to my front door) and for this price, it is a true value.
