I've owned some pretty pricey and exotic speakers, so when I had to downsize from a beloved pair of B&W DM 17s I was at a loss - until I found these, for less than half the price I'd paid for the older, larger, stranger-looking but great-sounding DM 17s. Now my wife is happy (aesthetics) and I am ecstatic (sound almost as good as the older units). One of the best values out there, especially if you're looking for small and inobtrusive (mine play with a Boston PV-600 sub - just too good for words).
