A revealing example of hype in audio. Slow and plodding with less dynamic impact than most budget subs at the $300 level. Paradigm's cheaper subs are better by a mile.

Those that rate this sub poorly either do not have a big enough room for it or they do not know how to set up a home theater system properly. This sub is not for a typical 'small' movie room. It needs space to breath. When properly adjusted and positioned this sub will perform in amazing ways. The external bass control unit is very well made. Do the research and read the critics reviews. They speak for themselves. Then, go audition one in a properly set up home theater room and be wowed!

Paradigm Servo-15 Subwoofer

Best value for the $$$$'s very tight bass and fast response. Only complaint is external phase, volume and crossover box, these controls should be incorperated into the subwoofer as all other manufacters do.
