Description:

48 inch ribbon mid/tweeter crossed over to 3 10 inch cone subwoofers at 100 Hz. Speaker has ability to reproduce remarkable deep bass for any speaker let alone one with no back or cabinet. Very wide open sound, typical lightning fast transient response of ribbons. Needs plenty of power, 100 watts minimum, much more stable than original Amazing loudspeaker. Very attractive with high gloss piano-black finish. Also available in oak for $300 less. Modern styling holds up well (even wife friendly appearance).

Carver has always been in my opinion, one of the leading audio manufacturers in the world. The performance of all their speakers is unparalled even by my Martin Logans. Their speakers were revolutionary at their conception and continue to be to this very day. Only those who own their truely amazing loudspeakers can appreciate their crisp beautiful sound. These speakers are true workhorses and no matter the volume they maintain clarity. So for all you idiots who dont take a hint if you dont already own some AL's then get off your ass and find yourself a pair (or 2) and join the truely audio enclined and see what you are missing

Carver Amazing Silver

The best speaker I've ever heard for under $15G. Musical, Precise imaging, Deep soundstage, gut wrenching bass and beautiful airy highs. Reproduction of strings and brass that cannot be equalled with conventional tweeters. But you had better be packing a massive amount of power to turn these over, monoblocks or bridged amp required. Then sit back and hang on!

Requires high current amplification; to appreciate the near perfection this
speaker approaches... center yourself with all room lighting off AND your
eyes closed... you will be impressed beyond words.

Spend your amp money on high current/low impedance units and use two of them,
one for each channel, (Not biamped, but briged).

Heaven on Earth will be yours.
