Definitive Technology BP-2002TL
I was looking to upgrade my existing Polk system to something more powerful and, yes, higher end. Auditioned Paradigm, Boston Acoustics, Athenas and Snells, but fell in love with these DefTechs for movies as well as music. Very loud yet detailed and never-straining. Great job, Definitive!

Tried out most of the top-end speakers before I heard these. Walked into the store and feel in love with them. I feel that they are great for home theater and music. I would recomend them to all!

Definitive Technology BP-2002TL
Without a doubt, this speaker is one of the best Home Theater and music speakers out there. For HT, the spacious sound and booming bass response makes you feel "inside the movie". As far as musicality, the full spectrum freq. response and the wide soundstage without sacrificing imaging is unsurpassed by any other speakers I have auditioned. These include B&W, paradygm,polks,infinity,boston acoustic,Ohm, and various other "high end" brands. The variable subwoofer alows you to increase or decrease the bass "boom" to your own listening tastes.
The looks of this speaker are also a plus, as the piano black finish on the end-caps seem to please the significant other as well as the interchangeable "socks" that cover the enclosure can be changed to virtually any material you desire with little sewing skill.
To sum up: THESE ARE THE BEST VALUE FOR THE BUCK OUT THERE.
