Description:These speakers are designed to handle the full dynamic range of today's multichannel audio technologies, like Dolby Digital and DTS as well as traditional two-channel sources. This model features left or right side-firing 12 " sub to enable placement close to the video source and eliminate the need for a separate powered subwoofer. The 125-watt amp is servo-controlled with auto power on and includes phase and level controls.

The front speaker array features a solid flat-piston driver to cover the full midrange spectrum of 100 Hz to 2.3 kHz. Also included is a variable-axis soft- dome tweeter, a design invented and patented by Phase Technology, that is user-adjustable for the most dramatic soundfield and channel separation.

The three-way Premier PC-500s is built with a heavily braced cabinet to dampen surface resonance, offering the thunderous impact of home-theater sound that's only available from a powered subwoofer. The speakers have a high-gloss piano- black top and sculpted removable feet with optional screw-in floor spikes.

The innovative floor-standing model is highlighted by two separate, detachable grille covers in three optional colors - burgundy, gray and black. One fits the side firing subwoofer and the other appears to float over the tweeter/midrange array.

Phase Technology PC-500s
Excellent Tower speakers for Home Theater. I drive them with a Yamaha Rx-V995 and am utterly and completely impressed with their bottom end and clear stunning highs. You will NOT need a subwoofer(s) with these speakers, the built-ins are incredible.

One fantastic feature on them is the variable-axis tweeters, which allow you to tilt the tweeter to aim it directly at your seating position. With this, I was able to position the towers perfectly perpendicular to my viewing wall, and simply "toe-in" the tweeters for great sound imaging.

The speakers have their own subwoofer output control to allow you to finely control the bass in your setup.

Highly Recommended!
