Incredable picture on a SVGA monitor but if you have to use an ordinary pan &scan TV you will be disappointed at looking at the SVGA output running to the TV at 640 x 480. Also you will only achive DVD quality not progressive scan when using the SVHS input and not the SVGA. Preamp sounds great but I don't like the idea of booting the PC first to use the preamp and DVD. It should have been reverse engineered, making the unit a standaplone preamp/DVD and letting you boot Win95 as an option. There also should be coax out and fiber out. No problems with wireless keyboard and RC-2000 remote. I have heard some complaints from other owners about audio pops on some DVD disk but I understand there are some software patches available for this. Also the PC slots are on proprietary buses, so that adding an interanl network card is not possible, but then again Philips may offer something in the future.
