Panasonic DVD-A320
Best player for the price period. I got it for $299 from Alta Vista shopping. It arrived in 4 days. I played "Saving Private Ryan" and the opening scene literally left me shaking just like it did in the theatre. The picture is crystal clear and the sound is unbelievable. I caught myself ducking once or twice when bullets and mortar shells seemed to streak right past my head. I researched players for 6 months and waited for the price to drop on this one or the Sony DVP-S550D. I know that I made the right choice.

Great player. Great value. Built-In DTS decoder. Popped in the Matrix DVD and played perfect on my Stereo TV. Virtual Surround sound is fantastic. Played 9 hours of continuous movies, no hiccups to report.

Excellent build quality, outstanding video and audio output. Also, although not noted in the note section, this unit has a built-in DTS decoder.

Panasonic DVD-A320
This Panasonic DVD-A320 is truly a work of art, yet a practical machine to buy.
That is, this DVD boasts of features only available in the high-end products.
For example, it has a dts feature which that makes it possible for the "sound" to be delivered so clear and crisp without the need of using a dts decoder. Also, it gives the users greater VIDEO flexiblity. This has Component, S-Video, Composite, and the RCA types of video output... practically, you can use any form of TV or projector screen! Above all, this machine would give you the BEST VALUE for your MONEY!!! (and I'm not talking about THOUSANDS here)

Panasonic DVD-A320
This is a new DVD player that will give most of us ability to have DTS playback without having to purchase a additionl DTS decoding receiver. This is a quite good product and it really adressed to solve the problem of people who previously invested in Dolby Digital. Insted of changinig both the DVD player and the receiver, we will be able to change only the DVD player to have superb sound.

Panasonic web site has only product announcement white papers but no product tech specs, but I think it will probably have the new 10-bit 27Mhz DAC, which is the most important feature these days.

Thank you....

Panasonic DVD-A320
List $749.00 Purchase $689.00 Canadian. Great player no faults to date. Able to adjust player to proper colour, contrast and sharpness for movies. This eliminates need to adjust tv every time one watches dvd's then switches back to regular tv viewing. Also nice to be able to set up the particular tv type.(ie projection) Sound also seems to be less directional then a310. Picture is sharper then 310 and much better then the new Sonys on 4.3 screen playing in wide screen. Sony's very fuzzy. The dts does seem to be more envolving in surround if Waterworld is any test.

Panasonic DVD-A320
This was promoted at the CES show as being a 1999 model to be released in spring. Well, here we are almost at the end of the year and nothing. I was waiting for this player, but I gave up and bought the Sony DVP S530D for $299 at Best Buy. What happened Panasonic? One must assume this player had some glitch.
