Still available on-line at great discounts. High current drive and K2 interface give the Audio portion of this receiver a huge benefit over all other lower priced receivers. Compared it two a Harman Kardon AVR65 and Sony 845 and the JVC blew them both away for full clean stereo power!

Paid $199 on last model closeout. Excellent replacement for the Sharp DVA100u I had, what a mistake that was.

JVC RX-888VBK
I rate this receiver a very solid overall 8+. The performance for its price, or for any price for that matter is great, and on this basis alone would rate it a 10. However, ease of use hamper what should be a don't miss product. I find I must have the manual readily available if any length of time passes between use of the receiver's many features. I just wish it was a little more intuitive.
