I like everything but the remote. I find it very un-ergonomic and hard to use. The buttons are small, strangely placed, and strangely chosen. I do like that there are instructions for "learning" a remote command (from another IR device, ie another manufacturor's remote) are printed on the back of the HK remote. It's nice because I've had to teach the remote lots of commands because the libraries included in the remote don't seem to work with any of my components.

All that said, I love the receiver; I love the sound; I just don't like the remote.

Very good reciever with many features and excellent sound that is just simply amazing with any audio source. Harman Kardon makes excellent products.

Fine, high quality receiver. Ease of use is not rated highly because manual is not well organized and presented, remote functions not intuitive. Otherwise, would rate it very highly on all counts.
