Let me tell you....team TEC is out there to please!!! In my humble opinion, their line of Maksutov Cassegrains is the very best being offered today. I just

recently received my TEC 6 and the quality of workmanship and optics has to be

seen to be believed!(read my rating on the TEC 6 in the "Telescopes" section of Excelsis)

I have had several opportunities to do business with Yuri. Even as I type this, my finder scope is winging its way to TEC where Yuri has graciously consented to adapt it for use with the bracket I ordered from him. He charges very fair prices, manufactures world-class products, and manages to be charming and friendly in the process. In a business populated with generally very fine people, Yuri and TEC stand out as excellent examples of the the qualities that make this hobby a pleasure! I recommend TEC without reservation.

I bought a used 4" TEC Maksutov Gregorian TEC used to make. It needed a return to the factory for recollimation. It certainly wasn't under warranty and yet they fixed it for almost nothing!

WOW! Great service and I haven't even bought from them yet. Have you ever heard of a problem with a TEC scope? I haven't either.
