PUHLEASE!! No way this thing can even try to compare to the Denon AVR 5800. I guess the only ones that think it can are crackheads! Stay on the porch Yamaha! Let the BIG dogs run!

96/24 mode bypasses the subwoofer out jack. Poor "Party Mode" dsp mode.
No upgradability. Yamaha tries to market "state of the art THD %" by taking
measurements at a lower power rating than its competition.

Yamaha RX-V1
This unit takes the best of the DSP-A1 and add's the tuner and a 44 bit processor. This is a must have Home Theater Receiver. Remote is much improved!
