Klipsch KSW 300
I have a KSW-300. I believe there is almost nothing that can compare to IT. I live on the third floor of a four floor building, at one end even. And, when I crank the bass just about everyone in the Dorm KNOWS I'm home. It Rocks!!!! Rebel 007 in Germany

Got this item for Christmas...Unbelievable bass! 25Hz is definitely a very conservative estimate for this monster. Had it hooked up in a surround system in a 30x20 carpeted room and we couldn't stand turning the output up more than half way! For $499 you cannot beat this sub!!! Need I say more?

Klipsch KSW 300
I auditioned several subs before deciding on the KSW-300. I had initially purchased a Velodyne 100 watt sub, but after getting it home, I was like "where is the bass????". (Not to take anything away from Velodyne, as their higher end subs are great). Anyway, I guess I just got lucky because after I returned the Velodyne, the salesman told me about these Klipsch 300 watt subs that they had over-manufactured and were liquidating at 1/2 price ($499). They did not have the KSW-300 hooked up for listening in the store, so I took the guys word for it and LUGGED (and I mean LUGGED) one home. I set it down and it has been there ever since, consistently performing down to 25hz and pissing my neighbors off. One time, the guy from two houses down said I was rattling pictures off his wall!!!! Great investment, good warranty, too bad they don't make
em anymore!!!1

I was looking for a sub and a dealer recommended to me for a price of $599. Can the previous rater tell me where he gets it for $499? Thanks.
