I've ordered from them and after not receiving in a reasonable amount of time, emailed for an update but never received an answer. I eventually got the order and have requested prices on other items a number of times, getting an answer right away. Prices are comparable to other dealers. Would order from them again.

This is based the purchase of a used telescope which is sometimes precarious: They had fairly prompt replies to email inquiries. Accurate description of the product I was buying (actually they were more fussy than I was). They kept me informed of the transaction and delivered on schedule. Quite satisfactory service. Their listed prices for some stuff is quite good. They're OK in my books.

Focus Scientific (1975) Ltd.
Out of 4 seperate orders, only 1 was received correctly, 3 others had to be returned. Not much attention paid to what is being shipped. They claim large telescope workshop for repairs and service, but after sale claim that service center is just for testing and alignment of new equipment. Sales personal were not familier with many product lines or common telescope procedures. Delivery times can be extensive since stock appears limited. Prices about the same as other Canadian dealers.
