B&W DM 302
One of the best budget bookshelf speakers on the market. They even compete very well with the CDM series within the B&W line. Great mids and highs with some constriction of sound at very high volumes. For a full sound, add a subwoofer and you will have a high performing 3-piece system.

Great soundstage, neutral sound, and good detail make this speaker a MUST listen. I listened to everything in it's price range and happily chose the 302's. Although they were for the office, I evaluated them extensively on my home reference system and almost regretted having to take them back to work. Obviously they won't reproduce the deepest bass but they do a respectable job considering their size.

Outstanding in every respect!
