Coupled with the 150W or 500W amp this sub is outstanding. The BASS is deep and flat. I had to tie everything down on all 3 levels of my home when I turned up my amp. The 500 W amp has phase control, level control and plug in crossover chips. the inputs are line level or speaker level and contains a 5-way binding post for speaker output. You can place the sub anywhere and keep the amp in your rack (real nice feature, Your not limited by a lack of wall outlets for sub placement) The 1220 is rated 4-ohms and the amp can handle 2 speakers in parallel. thats a 2-ohm circuit that the amp is powering and boy does it kick. I thought Godzilla was walking through my theater. Try it, I think you'll love it.
