Aside from the high quality, superb furniture grade aesthetics, these speakers are remarkable. They can be used as mains without a sub and give up very little for stereo music applications. With a sub, home theatre becomes astounding. There is a truly impressive openness and clarity rarely found in many speakers. The tweeters may be the best I've ever heard. Yes, they are expensive as all good products tend to be. You will not rgret spending the money. None of my audiophile friends have left my house less than impressed by these speakers.
