Had mine 5 years. Still love them. Both Consumer reports AND Stereo Review said they were top rated, so I tried them out, and never regretted it. No sibilance, nice spatial, no subwoofer needed. I dented my tweeter, company replaced it no questions asked. Cool sock-type grille.

Had them for about six years now and still haven't heard anything else that could touch them. You could spend a lot more, but why?

Terrible speakers. I put these up against a pair of JBL LX 44 speakers that I have owned for almost 10 years and my JBL's killed them. Consider other options.

The 7T had weak highs, hollow mids, and terrible imaging.
BTW, their center channel speaker is equally as bad, if not worse !!!

Very good speakers for the money. solid and deep
bass, so if you're not ready for a subwoofer, or can't afford one, these will
do pretty well by themselves. Excellent sound stage. I find they're especially good for movies, but are also quite good for music.
