>Complete and utter nonsense and rubbish from reviews that I have read. This bino uses BAK 7 glass which is so inferior for astronomy that even coke bottles would be superior. Someone obviously is trying to hype an inferior product here. Probably the manufacturer of this crap! >For anyone to claim to be able to see 4 to 6 bands on Jupiter's surface using 15 power and BAK 7 glass, or see Saturn's rings and 2 moons, you must have a field of bovine manure that you shovel daily. Then why pay 700 bucks for a pair of Fujinons, 500 for Adlerblicks, or Orion BAK 4 glass if these 80 buck binos smoke with BAK 7 glass? They don't make them with BAK7, they use BAK4. I have seen good reviews of this bino at non-commercial sites (cloudy nights) by people who have no vested interest in the product. I believe these are also the same as the Oberwerks 15x70 which Todd Gross gave a good review. If you are going to post an opinion, it would help if you actually used these binos, which clearly you have not.

Your review ( if you want to call it that ) sounds like someone trying to justify having spent a lot more money for perhaps not an appreciable improvement in performance.
