Dangaioh
Dangaio is one of the all time classic animes from the late 80s! This OVA series combined the talented efforts of then young artists Hirano Toshirano (character designs) and Shoiji Kawamori (mecha designer). This series is awesome with vibrant colours and larger than life villians and mecha. Few dramas in 2001 to the present come close to the quality seen in this series. Its a real pity Hirano never continued the series. Nevertheless, do yourself a favor check this out. Disclaimer not for people who like shojo anime, go what some stupid anime like Love Hina (which is ugly as hell and has one of the dumbest plots ever).
