Don't get me wrong I totally love the series.
BUT,
Miaka is the stupidest girl ever to star in a series.
Usagi was no prize either but, Come on.
I really liked the storyline and character's.
For all you Tamahome lover's out there, ANY of you and I really mean
that. I don't care who are you, what you do..YOU are still better for him
than Miaka. So what are you waiting for? go save the poor guy..
Just leave Nakago for me

Your comments about the characters Miaka and Usagi have me wondering whether you have been watching the subtitled or dubbed versions of these anime.

Maybe you would prefer something a little higher brow. If you are into shoujo series then maybe Ah! My Goddess might be more your sort of thing?
Personally I liked Now and Then; Here and There for realistic character developement, but it is a bit dire.
