To respond to your message below. I have a pair of KSP 400 myself. What I did to fix the problem is buy a set of 3 prong to 2 prong converters. These can be found in your local electronics shop for under $5. Plug the power cord into this adapter, which plugs directly into the wall. This has solved the hum you experienced from your sub. >Just purchased these from UBid @ $1800...as soon as I plugged one of these in the subwoofer started making an audible "hum" (the other unit sounds okay)....based upon that I rate these a 2. I called Klipsch and they said they will fix/replace the amplifier for free (less shipping) IF I can get the amp deinstalled (it requires some unsoldering). I will add to this review in the future if Klipsch ever fixes this problem for me.

This comes from the ground of your electrical outlet. It is recomended that you but a converter from any hardware store, home depot, lowes etc. It adapts a 3 prong power cable that would normally plug into your wall to a 2 prong adapter eliminating the ground prong. This will get rid of the hum.
